Symposium on Advanced Bone Char Technology for Fluoride Removal Held in Arusha, Tanzania!

The Water Institute, in collaboration with RISTI Consulting from Korea, has officially launched the Symposium on Advanced Bone Char Technology for Fluoride Removal from Groundwater, held at Gran Meliá Hotel, Arusha.
This symposium aims to promote the adoption of affordable, safe, and environmentally friendly technologies to address excessive fluoride levels in groundwater a major public health concern affecting communities in several regions of Tanzania, particularly in the Arusha zone.
In his opening speech, the Rector of the Water Institute, Prof. Adam Karia, noted:
“Bone Char Technology presents an effective, low-cost, and community-accessible solution that is also environmentally sustainable. It is a promising step forward in the effort to ensure safe drinking water for all.”
